How to install and use your eSIM?

 If you purchased an eSIM from us, please refer to the instructions below for various topics, including how to install the eSIM,
send text messages, connect to the internet, and more. If you need further assistance or have any questions, please first check our FAQ or contact us directly.

 

BEFORE INSTALLATION

Before starting the installation process, please ensure that:

  • An internet connection is available
  • The eSIM’s QR code you received is ready for scanning (printed, saved to the phone’s gallery, or displayed on another device)

INSTALLATION ON

IOS

Installation on iOS devices:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Cellular.
  3. Tap Add eSIM.
  4. Tap Use QR code.
  5. Scan the QR code
  6. Tap Continue twice.
  7. WAIT a few minutes for your eSIM to activate, then tap Done.
  8. Add a Label to your eSIM: Tap Secondary, and enter SIMTOISRAEL or any preferred label. Then tap Done and Continue.
  9. Select your Primary line for calls and text messages. Then tap Continue.
  10. Select your Primary line for Cellular/Mobile data. ENSURE that Allow Cellular Data Switching is turned off. Then tap Continue. After completing these steps, the installation is complete, and the page will close.
ANDROID

 Installation on Android devices:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Connections.
  3. Tap SIM manager.
  4. Tap Add eSIM.
  5. Tap Scan QR code.
  6. Tap the Gallery icon and select the QR image.
  7. Tap Done.
  8. Wait a few minutes for the installation to complete. After completing these steps, the installation is complete, and the page will close.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Once you reach Israel, ensure that mobile data is set to your eSIM

Instructions for iOS devices:
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Cellular.
  3. Tap your eSIM.
  4. ENSURE that the eSIM is enabled. If not, toggle Turn ON This Line.
  5. Go back to Cellular.
  6. Tap Mobile data and select your eSIM.

 

Instructions for Android devices:
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Connections.
  3. Tap SIM manager.
  4. ENSURE that the eSIM is enabled. If not, toggle ON.
  5. Tap Mobile data.
  6. Select your eSIM.

Your eSIM should automatically connect to a supported mobile network.
NOTE: While using your eSIM, it is recommended to switch OFF your original SIM plan to avoid any charges.
IOS: Settings -> Cellular -> Select your primary line -> Toggle Roaming data OFF Android: Settings -> Connections -> SIM manager -> Toggle your Primary line OFF
